No FHR Scout account
FHR Scout does not offer user accounts, accept hotel reservations, process payments, or ask for American Express or Hilton credentials. Hotel searches and filters run in the browser against a public static data cache. The site stores interface preferences such as language, theme, color theme, shortlist entries, recent destination searches, and selected view settings in your browser's local storage. Those preferences stay on that browser unless you clear site data or use a browser feature that synchronizes storage.
Analytics and server records
The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage such as page visits and feature interactions. Google may receive technical information including an IP-derived location, browser details, referring page, and event data, and may use cookies or similar identifiers according to its own policies and your browser settings. The web host may also retain ordinary security and access logs. FHR Scout does not intentionally send hotel shortlists, free-form account credentials, payment information, or reservation records to analytics.
Public data and external sites
The directory republishes and summarizes public hotel, program, rate, and offer observations with source timestamps. Links to American Express, Hilton, GitHub, email, and other external services leave FHR Scout; those services control their own data collection and privacy terms. If you email the project, the message and address are used to review and respond to the request. Send only information needed for the report, avoid account or payment data, and use the contact page for correction or privacy questions. This notice was last updated August 24, 2026.
