How it works
Public data only
FHR Scout refreshes a local cache from unauthenticated public hotel and rate endpoints. It does not use accounts, private keys, paid APIs, or pro-only date searches.
Dates and calendars
The directory filters against pre-cached daily rows where available. Trip timing radar and calendar coverage badges use those cached public rows only; opening a hotel loads that hotel's public daily rate rows on demand. Holiday filtering uses United States public holiday dates only.
Price moves
When SQLite history has at least two refreshes, the generated cache compares the same public stay by hotel, program, and check-in date when available. Deal confidence labels stay conservative and only summarize public signals such as recent drops, offers, destination percentile, and calendar coverage.
Pricing limits
Room rates are shown when the public source exposes them. Taxes, local fees, eligibility, benefits, and availability must be verified on Amex Travel before booking.
